It rained and it rained....

For all of you out-of-towners....

Lubbock got the most rainfall in the history of the city this week. It was CRAZY. I know this doesn't compare to Ike, but it was still weird for our city. My side of town didn't look so bad (once the rain finally stopped,) but some of the rest of the city was in bad shape. LISD closed, as did Tech. The mayor declared a "state of emergency." A lot of daycares closed, too....but the T-man's was still open.

I hear that the stadium was pumped and is now dry and ready for the game. I will cross my fingers it doesn't rain when the game starts. There is a chance!
